Sunday, November 25th, Day Eighty-Two, Mattress
Evening
Today, my husband and I got out of our residence to purchase a mattress for our new condo.
If you would like to join me in this journey from the beginning, please start with Day One.
Food
Today I roasted a pumpkin and sweet potatoes. I fixed salmon burgers for breakfast along with sweet potatoes and made a chocolate pumpkin shake for lunch.
I ordered a batch of groceries and received a bottle of dill pickles. We cooked the salmon burgers in dill pickle juice and served them with a spear of dill pickle. We buttered the sweet potato and sprinkled it with sea salt, ground pepper, and cinnamon.
The pumpkin shake was lukewarm rather cold. It was made with warm pumpkin, chocolate Orgain whey protein, barely-cooled Berkey water, oatmeal, cinnamon, lecithin granules, and a couple of Brazil nuts blended together in the Vitamix. My husband said it kind of tasted like an original recipe.
Mattress
This afternoon, my husband and I went shopping for queen-sized mattress. We wanted to go to sleep on the first bed we lay on. Afterwards, we tried another cheaper mattress, hoping it would have the same effect, but it was a bit too firm, so we decided on the first mattress. We bought it today and will have it delivered to our condo after we move in.
After buying the mattress, we stopped at Wendy’s on the way home for junior burgers and chili.
Getting Ready for the Week
This coming week is going to be packed with activity. I am almost afraid to do anything for fear that I will not do something else that is more important. On September fourteenth, I made an extensive to-do list that I included on this book/blog. Over the next several weeks I got almost everything on the list done. Perhaps I need to do that again, except now everything needs to be done in a week and a half.
