What Can You Accomplish with Cronometer?

Cronometer by cronometer.com, is a fantastic tool for anyone who wants to improve their body image, energy, and mood. For example, my weight loss stalled for an entire year. I started using Cronometer, and because of it I got unstuck. In addition, I got better control over the cost and amount of supplements I take because it doesn’t track just calories, fats, proteins, and carbohydrates, it tracks a long list of nutrients. There are options to list even more nutrients than these in the user profile.

Nutrients

A long list of nutrients may not excite you, but it really excites me. I have long dreamed of a tool to keep track of a long list of nutrients rather than concentrating on just having a giant food data base. I even designed and thought of programming a tool like Cronometer myself, but that task was monumental–requiring a whole team to do so. Cronometer goes to great lengths to be as accurate and complete as possible with each of the foods in its data base. It does a great job with whole foods. Thus, I recommend trying Cronometer even if you don’t have time to do it all the time. You will learn a great deal about the foods you eat.
Foods
You can mouse over the percent of daily value for a nutrient, and it will show the amount and percentage from the top foods that contain that nutrient. Daily values can be customized in Cronometer. These features are absolutely awesome! You can learn just what foods in your diet contribute to each nutrient and how much!
