Saturday Morning

We met the realtor at the condo before the closing and did a walk-thru inspection.  It looked great.  The sellers had some moving boxes out, but everything was tidy.  There was not a stray item or dirt anywhere.  I had forgotten to check earlier if the kitchen faucet pulled out.  It is important that it does, so we can easily refill the Berkey filter with water.  I checked it during our closing inspection, and thankfully, that is just the kind of faucet the condo has.

The closing for the condo went off without mishap, for us anyway.  The sellers gave us both of their keys and locked themselves out.  My realtor emailed, texted, and called both myself and my husband frantically for a key while we were at dinner.  By the time we connected with the listing agent, the sellers had located an extra key they had lent to a family member, so there was no need to give her a key.  The sellers will turn in the third key when they vacate the property.

I got up early again and spent some time packing.
