Day 89, Making Weekly Plans

“Before anything else, preparation is the key to success.”
Yesterday I scored 343 points in Vibrancy (JV Life Tracker).  Wow!  What a recovery from earlier this week!

Here are a few reminders for our day.  I had Mini Joy for breakfast.  This time, I spiced it with a touch of ginger, nutmeg, and cloves.  Here is how it turned out.  It is only 357 calories, which does not always get me to lunch.  Let me try it today.   It is low-carb.  That may work for you.  I used to consume a lot of fruit, but I have cut back to keep my intake of fructose low.  I believe that helps when dieting or even maintaining weight.
Sunflower lecithin is not nearly as rich in choline as soy lecithin, so I use more of it.  You may prefer sunflower lecithin to opt for a soy-free diet.  Do whatever works for you.  I recommend some type of lecithin to nourish your brain.  It is a lot of work to get enough choline without it.

I am using the weekly mindmap I introduced earlier in the reminders.  For yesterday, Thursday, I scored 343 points in JV Life Tracker, which was the highest score since January 14, 2019.  I worked on two projects I do not often get to Net and App.

I am still using my Vibractivity app.  I let it go for a week or so.  My JV Life Tracker scores plummeted, and I started getting depressed.  I was not as productive.  I have resumed it in full-force.  It is a second copy of the Cronometer app, customized for activities rather than food.
I am using the amino acid fields for 16 top values.   Now I can see how my mix of activities supports each of my values.  Yesterday was fantastic.
I continue to develop what works for me.  You may use different tools.   If you can use a computer, and you must be able to do so if you are reading this, avail yourself of electronic devices for self-management and control.

Today, we scheduled our cosmetologist.  She canceled and re-scheduled twice for this appointment, so who knows if she will be here today.  She usually calls ahead, though, and now it is only a few hours before she is due to arrive.

I also plan to handle the mail that has been piling up.   I received a Thanksgiving Day card from my friend, Jacque, and did not thank her for it when I talked to her last night.  She has gradually been doing better since her recent fall.  Her back is still hurting, and she is getting therapy.  She asked for my snail mail address again last night, even though she sent me a card for Thanksgiving.  I think that fall affected more than her back.
She prayed for me last night–very spiritual and sweet.  I want to enjoy her as much as I can while she is still with us.

Rest and Relaxation

I am grateful for my life.  My biggest challenge currently is getting enough sleep.  Thankfully, my husband let me go straight to bed last night, and I slept until past 5:00 AM.  So for today, I feel less tired.  I feared that the Vibractivity app was exhausting me.  That does not necessarily happen.  I can take a break whenever I want.  The couple that I visit twice weekly invited me to nap in their condo to prevent my husband from waking me up.
The above will be an ongoing effort.  I held to my fast last night.  Dr. Satchin Panda, Ph.D., says that time-restricted eating (TRE) can resolve sleep problems.

My cosmetologist needs to lose weight for her knees.  I shared my blog address with her and mentioned some tips she will see if she takes the time to peruse it.  Hopefully, it will prove helpful to her, as I hope it also has for you.

Diet Diary

According to Wayne Dyer, I need a quiet mind.  He believes that is the way to connect with God.  Perhaps my excessive mind chatter is not conducive to my mental health.  Today, I will start making it quieter.
My productivity has soared with my new weekly mindmap plans.  I am breaking my procrastination on dormant projects.  Please help me to continue with this.  According to Emily Balcetis in Clearer, Closer, Better:  How Successful People See the World, college students who made weekly, rather than daily, plans earned a grade point more on average.
At first, I implemented weekly planning in my Aspirations notebook.  However, it got messy.  I could not plan a week’s activities on only two facing pages, and it was cumbersome to make updates.  It also required a lot of pen and paper.  However, MindMeister solves those three issues.  My weekly plans look great in pastel colors, almost like a work of art.  I formatted the map as an organization chart.
Lord, help me to continue.  I love my life.  Please bless my readers with success in their projects.
